I biked the full circuit around the lake. It was a pleasant ride but I thought I'd write a trip report because I was surprised by some elements of the trail that weren't well documented here or on biking websites. Most notably, this trail is not very flat! All reports say it is relatively flat, but the whole trail is rolling hills that are sometimes quite steep. This is particularly true on the West side of the loop. There's about a mile of mostly flat trail on the Southeast corner from 224th st to 184th ave.
Also the East side of the trail following 184th Ave along Petrovitsky Road is about 1.5 miles of single track gravel along the road. The gravel track is just wide enough for one person walking. While there is a few feet separation from the road, I found this section a little nerve racking on a bike.
Overall, this is a pleasant trail and most of it is well maintained gravel grade. It follows a chain link fence on the perimeter of the reservoir reserve the whole way. You only get one distant view of the lake, but the forest is lovely and I'm happy to have it close to home. But expect hills!
