Mount Spokane State Park - Snowshoe Summit Route — Friday, Jan. 6, 2023

Two friends and I set out for the summit of Mount Spokane under the light of the full moon. We started from the upper parking lot across from the closed summit road. Took trail 130 to Bald Knob where we donned our snowshoes for the push to the top. Then made our way past the bathrooms, through the closed campground and followed the trail to the summit. We had great weather and conditions were great for snowshoeing. It is always windy on top at the Vista House, so we added a few layers of clothing before heading down. Saw a few other groups but had the summit to ourselves.
