Trip Report

Camano Island State Park — Friday, Nov. 18, 2022

Puget Sound and Islands > Bellingham Area

Well maintained and uncrowded park with beautiful Olympics views, bluffs, and fall foliage.
There were several red lions mane jellyfish (cold water jellyfish native to  Puget Sound) right at the shoreline. Very cool to see up close, but people hiking with small children and pets might want to keep an eye out, as their stings apparently aren’t deadly but are painful.
