Pete Lake — Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway
Late fall day

Note: Garmin said 5 miles before reached a lake view, 9.8 round trip. Long time hiker who wanted something easier and this was perfect. Some people might call it a nature walk vs a hike because there's not much elevation gain but I'd disagree. It's a "real" hike, just not too strenuous. Perfect hike for beginners and people with dogs. Also be excellent for backpackers who don't want elevation gain. It was eerily quiet. Not even any birds or insect noise most of the way. The lake is pretty. Not spectacular but pretty. It's no Lake 22 but since it's not a thigh buster it's worth it, especially if you just want a long hike in nature. Worst part on the trail was all the horse manure.
