This was a tough overnight for me. I didn't note when I left the trailhead but I rode my bike to the NP boundary (you can legally ride further to Dosewallips campground I believe) and locked it up at 12:20.
I made it up to Honeymoon Meadows at about 5:30pm the first day. Despite the lack of rain there was still plenty of water on this trail. I carried 1 liter of water and that was fine. It felt odd being autumn but being so warm. A few trees were down but nothing unpassable. I saw stock at big timber.
The next day I broke camp at ~9am and made it up to Anderson Moraine and then turned around and hiked at a good pace the whole way out. The log is out at Honeymoon Meadows, but with water as low as it is I didn't get my feet wet.
The only notable wildlife I saw was a herd of elk with two bulls on the west fork of the Dosewallips and a pair of grouse near Camp Siberia. There wasn't too much in the way of autumn colors with just a tiny bit of huckleberries turning red at the upper reaches of the trail.
I made a track in Gaia and it said day one was 11 miles and 5 hours total and day two was 6hrs 14min not including the bike ride. I didn't take much in the way of breaks while hiking but did look around a bit since this was my first time on the Dose.
