On Monday, 9/26, eight members of our senior hiking group hiked to Kelly Butte. The weather was sunny but hazy. The temperature was in the mid 70s but the wind kept us cool. We drove bumpy dirt roads to the trailhead. We picked a lot of huckleberries. There weren't many other hikers. The trail was so dry that it was slippery. On the way down the steep section I slipped on dry dirt on a rock and scraped my elbow. The road was worse than the last time I was there (2020). Other than that it was a nice hike to an old lookout cabin.

P.S. This is my 100th trip report to WTA. There are many other people who reported many more, but this is a milestone for me.
