Arrived at the trailhead around 10:30 am on the weekend, and parking has already overflow as we expected. We ended up parking near Tipsoo lake. I could see the trails for Tipsoo lake and Naches Peak were very crowded.
The trail (PCT) to Sheep Lake was not as crowded, and wildflowers were in full bloom! Sheep Lake was beautiful, but Sourdough Gap gave us a great viewpoint to view the lake from top with Mt. Adams decorating in the background.
What I must mentioned, though, is that BUGS were very annoying, especially near the lake! I ended up having ~8 bug bites on me. I wished we had brought bug spray with us. Lesson learned.
