Parked at junction of NF-625 and Ruby Creek Rd (NF-2489). Plenty of recent logging activity and one logging truck encountered on Ruby Creek Rd but none impeding access to the trailhead. Hike to the tower was easy using the NF-625 road. The outhouse was unlocked and had been used recently. The cable keeping the tower windows protected had been cut and the door had been removed from the hinges. No signs of vandalism, but plenty of beer cans in the fire ring at the base of the tower. Please be careful if you climb the stairs to the tower as some of the boards are old. Good APRS and 2m VHF coverage at the summit.
