Beautiful day to test out our hearts and lungs on this grueling hike/climb. With full knowledge of conditions high on the mtn we decided to hike to the rock field right below Stu-Jack pass around 4800ft. A large snowfield covers most of this region but we could see the zig zags up to Stu Jack were snowfree for the most part. Talk to others that said trail about Stujack was icy/snowy and shouldn't be attempted without proper gear and experience. After lunch at the rock field we headed back down to discover that my vehicle had been robbed. Back window broke out and empty small handbag taken. Sorry times but we will focus on the positives and this trail is beauty.
