Mount Daniel — Sunday, Jul. 10, 2022

I hiked Daniel on Sunday, July 10. The road has the sketchy water crossing near the trailhead but is otherwise fine.

I left the parking lot at 5:30 am and hit consistent snow around 5,000 ft. Peggy's Pond was completely still frozen over. Snow was very deep but the boot up to the mountain made travel relatively easy. I put on crampons at around 7,000 feet but didn't even use them on the way down. Beautiful day!
