Stopped to view the sunset at Rialto Beach on my 101 loop tour of the Olympic Peninsula. Rialto Beach is a short 20 minute drive West from Forks, WA on Hwy 110 and Mora Road as you head out towards LaPush. Rialto Beach is easily accessed on the North side of the inlet of the Quinault River.
A fairly quiet area on this evening with only about 8 cars at the beach parking area. Easy access to the beach from the parking lot. I didn't hike to the Hole in the Wall as I wasn't paying any attention to the tides. Just happened to be out there at the right time of day to catch the sunset. The Hole in the Wall is approx 1.7 miles to the north along the beach, and only accessible during low tide.
Tons of drift wood all along the shoreline and a rocky jetty cutting out into the ocean to the south towards the views of James & Little James Islands just off shore of the mouth of the inlet.
