We left Seattle Friday late evening we slept about 4 hours and started hiking at 4:30 AM. About half of the up we saw a very nice sunrise between Adams and Hood. on the hike there is nothing technical but there are areas with no trail and a bolder field. most people stop walking before the summit because the last section is more exposed with snow. we were happy we had our micro spikes. the way down was pretty easy it took us about 2 hours (but were running half of the way down).
