Pretty easy hike for average hikers or kids. About 500' gain per mile going up. We arrived at 9:30am hoping it wouldn't be too crowded for a Friday in November. It wasn't too bad going up and at the ledge. See pic with a dozen or so people at the top. On the way down, it was heavier crowds going up. Lots of people with their dogs. Nothing too surprising for an easy-rated hike in the I-90 corridor. The water level for the lake was really low. Visibility at the top was great. My kids are 9 and 12 and did fine. They liked the views. We left the truck at 9:45 and returned back at 12:15pm.
