Lowell Riverfront Park Trail — Friday, Oct. 25, 2019

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

Wonderful little evening walk on the snohomish river and surrounding marsh area. We went near sunset as this faces the east and we knew we would have some beautiful color (thanks to October’s sunsets❤️). The riverfront trail is paved and suitable for all with just a little mud covering the trail near the boat launch. This is a fantastic place to see birds and wildlife. We saw a harbor seal in the river, ruby and golden crowned Kinglets, a kingfisher, northern flickers, brown creepers, fox and song sparrows and some hawks at a distance
