Dirty Face Lookout and Peak — Saturday, Sep. 7, 2019

Tough hike but great views at the top are totally worth it! Only saw 14 other hikers all day. There is a large yellow jacket nest in one of the old footings of the lookout. Another hiker did get stung.

Wild flowers about gone. There are still some paintbrush and asters near the creeks. Lots of berries and fall colors popping up.

Skipped mIlkshakes and opted for fresh pasta at Wildflour-totally amazing meal.
