Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

Parking isn't too bad, as long as you have a parking pass and you know where to park. The lot by the trailhead is handicapped parking only, so parking on the edge of the street is advised.

We only hiked to the natural water slides, and it took about an hour and a half, but it might be longer or shorter depending on how experienced you are. If you're allergic to dogs, you probably shouldn't go on this hike. Lots of people bring their dogs and/or kids to the water slides.

Along the way, there's really not that much wildlife to see. When we went we only heard birds, let alone saw them. As for the plants, there is some Devil's Club (thorny stems and big, maple-like leaves) along the way, ripe salmon berries, which are orange colored berries that taste similar to blackberries. The trees were also beautiful and very tall.

Once you got to the natural water slides, it was pretty crowded. Lots of kids were playing in the water, while the adults were avoiding falling into it. The water was very cold, even though it was July. It also made the rocks slippery, but only where it was wet.

Overall, this hike was very fun. The water slides were challenging to cross, but fun once you got used to the rocks. Once you get wet, the water's not too bad, especially after the long hike and if it's a hot day.
