The wildflowers are stunning right now and you must go! My 14 year old and I decided that the clouds would part - and they did, though no rainier view - and we thought we were in heaven. Yup, even my giant teenage boy thought the flowering bear grass was magical.

Don't worry about the enormous number of cars.
We parked 0.3 miles from the TH (around 11:30) and were concerned about people but this is a big mountain and wasn't crowded, though I guess most hikers were coming back down at that late start time. Had the trail to ourselves most of the time.

Snow is pretty much gone except for a few patches you'll need to cross but you can find enough to throw a snowball. A few bugs at the summit due to no wind. Sit at the north side for the best lunch time views.

Only concern is the amount of unofficial paths starting in the last mile to the summit. Hope hikers can keep the damage to a minimum but there is erosion.
