My wife and I hiked Friday after work with our dog. The parking lot had plenty of room and trail was in great condition.
The top portion is tricky for dogs as there is quite a bit of boulders to navigate, our boy was scrambling through parts but made it ok.
Bugs were not a problem until close to the top, then they were quite annoying.
The trail being not busy was awesome. The other side benefit of doing this one after work was being up there during the golden hour for photography...made me want my good camera!
Good hike at a good time. We did need headlamps on the way down as it got dark.
