Awesome little hike off Hwy 410. Opted for something snow free with views of Rainier on a clear day and were definitely rewarded. For the sub 4 mile hike the payoff is huge with views of the mountain all the way up and wildflowers bloomin. All of the gain (and sun exposure) is in the middle section of the hike which is fairly steep so it'll still get your heart rate up. Cool fire lookout at the top with shade to hang in. It took us about an hour to get up at 45 down, stopping periodically for pics and shade.
