Beautiful sunny day for a hike. Thought this was going to be an easy trail based on mileage alone but it’s tougher than you think. The road part of the walk is beautiful and then you get to the dirt/rock part of the trail. Going up is not bad but coming down can be tricky, I recommend poles if you have them because the rocks/gravel can make you slide & trail is narrow in several areas. Both kids & I enjoyed the view at the top. Be careful coming down as not to trip or slip, take it slow. Pretty steep climb up, had to take a couple quick stops to catch our breath but worth the effort because the views are stunning.
