Big Cedar Tree - Kalaloch — Friday, May. 31, 2019

So the big tree behind the wooden fence right at the beginning is not a tree. It's essentially a nursery tree. Look at the hemlock trees growing on it. Their roots reaching down what, 30-40 feet and enterring the ground? Amazing. The actual big cedar tree is a short walk past that fenced tree /stump. Very smooth crushed gravel trail would work great for strollers. Nice quick side hike! Glad we took it.
