FOUND: a selfie stick. If you can correctly tell me the brand and color I’ll gladly give it back. I’m pretty sure I passed you early this morning as you were going down......any ways, I got a new back pack and boots and wanted to work on breaking them in before some multi day hikes I have planned. So I intended to start at ira sprig and eventually work my way towards talapus and back. The trail was snow free until about a quarter mile past the junction for rainbow lake. It’s still really deep in places and my dogs and I were post holing. So we made it to that tiny lake part way to rainbow, had lunch and turned back around. All in all about 9 miles. Only an hour forty-five to the lake. It was a great day for a hike!
