Dirty Harry's Balcony — Sunday, Mar. 3, 2019

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

We left the trailhead at about 2:45pm and hiked at a leisurely pace to the balcony. Microspikes are definitely necessary. We saw some hikers with trekking poles, but we didn’t use them. The balcony was cold and windy, so we found a spot on the eastern side of the trail to chill for a while. We watched the sun set over the mountain until around 5pm, then headed back down. There was plenty of light to help us navigate down the well-worn trail, and we returned to the parking lot about 50 minutes later.
