A friend and I brought our kids out to check out birds. They are all 5 and 7. They had fun and we all enjoyed seeing a heron, Hawks, a juvenile eagle, and trumpeter swans. No hunting while we were there (2/9-20). There is tons of water in the trail and it’s very mucky. You had to be nimble. We had one kid fall into the water but he wasn’t bothered too much ... however it is deep in spots so be carful!

In that first photo, it looks like the birds are sketching out the outline of Washington state and the PNW. :) Thanks for the the report.
