We decided to venture out on a sunrise hike two days after the first Seattle snow...was a little bit worried about road conditions but we made it! The parking lot had some packed snow and the trail was covered the whole way. We used spikes the entire way up.
It was so beautiful to see this place that's usually crowded every weekend covered with a light dusting of snow. And the morning light was even better.
The hike down was amazing. Such calm weather, sun and snow all over the trees.
