Snow starts at summer-winter junction! I hiked the summer route. Put my gaitors on in the boulder field, no problems until I got near the Stairway to Heaven snow drifts up to a couple of feet deep and t.hats where the postholing started.Made it a couple hundred feet above the stairway and had to throw in the towel, deep drifts. Still doable for strong hikers probably through this weekend

Yeah, she has a small sore on her ankle where she holds her toys and chews them up.Did you make it to the summit? Did I talk to you?
