I arrived at the parking lot at 10 am, about 3 hours after sunrise. There weren't many cars there and the parking lot is quite huge. The trail is very well maintained. While Sol Duc Falls might be the highlight, the view throughout the trail is equally beautiful. There are another waterfall just before Sol Duc Falls which I think is quite stunning as well.
It took me about 15 minutes to arrive at Sol Duc Falls. The bridge is very slippery. It was cold and much of the mist that gets on the bridge may have froze.
I hiked a little on Lover's Lane Loop. This trail is on your right at the fork after you pass the Sol Duc Falls Bridge. The left leads you up to the ridge. The Lover's Lane Trail will take you along the Sol Duc River.
