Trip Report

Paradise Valley Conservation Area — Tuesday, Apr. 17, 2018

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

As other reports have noted, the potholes in the parking lot are big, but avoidable  The trails are relatively flat and clear. There were some muddy bits and 2 spots on Cascara Trail where a small stream has crossed the trail. These are easily crossed on logs that have been conveniently placed.

We took a short wander down the Mainline to Lloyd's Trail, then Cascara back to Mainline, about 2.7 miles. It was a nice grey day with sun breaks. Some trillium ate out and bleeding heart violets are also coming up.
