Chose this loop from one of the WTA's winter hikes lists. Very easy; flat and well maintained. Leave the hiking boots at home, sneakers will do. The winter willow, dogwood and other bare branch colors are lovely and soft. Many birds on Larsen Lake, saw buffleheads, coots and mallards to name a few. Red-winged blackbirds call from the thickets surrounding the water.
