We got to the Foothill gate about noon when we started our short hike this morning. There was only one other van that was parked there when we arrived and we encountered them pretty early on the trail.
Overall conditions were typical Washington weather--a little wet and muddy--but it was a great time anyway! The trees helped keep some of the heavy rain off us early in the hike. But of course, Huxley (the dog) got a little more muddy because of the conditions.
We didn't have time to go down to the car, but we will make it there next time!
