The road to Graves Creek is open and in good shape. We only hiked to Fire Creek (about 4 miles in), but there was no snow or ice on the trail. We had the trail to ourselves until we turned around. Beautiful, brisk day in the woods. We saw 4 herds of elk on the way to the trailhead and 2 bald eagles at Graves Creek.
