***NOTE ON SNOW CONDITIONS***   We stopped at Summerland. You will be hiking on snow very soon if you go past the boulders after the stream crossing in the meadow.

Perfect conditions for our hike today. No snow or mud to contend with on the trail below Summerland. The wildflowers are out, especially in the middle section of the trail between Fryingpan Creek and Summerland. Lots of tall white ones, which were majestic to hike through. The flowers are coming in at Summerland too, I think it'll be especially wonderful next week. We saw a couple of marmots at Summerland, which always seems to happen whenever I'm up there.

Pretty white flowers. If you can ID, please comment and thanks!

Thank you both! That was one of my suspects, but these don't appear to be as fully bloomed as the ones in my field guides.
