Meander Meadows, Cady Ridge & Dishpan Gap — Saturday, Jul. 15, 2017

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - East

Starting at the Little Wenatchee trailhead and hiking up to meander meadows is rough. The bushes are waist to shoulder deep for the majority of the hike up to Meander Meadows.

Once up on the ridge, there are patches of snow but a couple camp sites to be found. The PCT is about 40% snow at this point still. Pretty obvious where the trail goes at most times.

Lots of water from snowmelt along the PCT, less water on Cady Ridge, pump when you have the opportunity.

Thanks Paul. I was curious about this hike, as I am doing it with a couple of friends just after Labor Day.

I was wondering both about the overgrowth on the trail and the snow situation because we are not equipped with axe and spikes. I'm guessing if only 40% of the PCT is in snow now, it will be clear by then. The overgrowth of the trail up to the meadow is a bummer but it is only a means to get to the meadow so I can deal with it.
