This is a great trail! In perfect condition. Obviously well traveled. Went with a few pals and our dogs. The description says it's a 400 hundred elevation gain. I'm pretty sure it goes up 400 feet then back down, then back up...and so on. Great conditioning trail for those getting into hiking shape. It was a super hot day so we didn't go all the way to the end. Too hot for the dogs. A few miles in we went and sat on a rock at the rivers edge, had lunch, and let the dogs cool off in the river before heading back. Hiked 6 miles total. It's gorgeous! Can't wait to go back on a cooler day to explore further on.
