The road is clear of snow until about 1 mile from the Hut. It is melting quickly; there is no snow at the Hut itself. We enjoyed a girls night, eating and drinking well into the night. The mountain came out occasionally, but the weather was mostly cloudy. The Hut is well-stocked...everything you need is there. The bathroom is clean and has a motion detector light, which made late-night trips easy. Fun trip. We may have to make it an annual overnighter!

65* on the way up. It was windy in the evening, but not too cold. We were able to sit outside in sweatshirts. My friend left her kindle there under a pillow in one of the bunks. Message me if you happen to find it! Enjoy!!

Yes, the upper parking lot was open. The road was a bit rough, but totally passable.
