Snoquera Falls Loop — Saturday, Apr. 22, 2017

Mount Rainier Area > Chinook Pass - Hwy 410
Mountain views at the Falls
Hiked to Snoquera Falls this morning to check out the waterfall. Parking is in the Camp Shepard Trailhead, arrived to the lot at 8:30am, with only 2 other cars there. Trail is snow free and easy to navigate with a lot of good spring blooming and greenery to see. Broke a pretty good sweat getting up to the falls, which made for a good workout. The Falls are absolutely amazing! They are a lot taller than I originally thought, and theres a foot trail that you can take right up to the base which was awesome. Hiking back we saw lots of Elk scat, but didn't get a chance to see any Elk. Overall a great hike with some great views and a breathtaking waterfall! However, I would recommend a tick check after you hike, I found one on my leg after we finished and I was wearing pants.
