It might be hard to see, but there is a salmon in this photo! In the middle part of the falls, close to the big rock outcropping on the left.
The trail was muddy in a couple places, but not bad. There were salmon jumping up Lucia Falls. There are signs all over indicating not to come into contact with the water so as not to cause a potential problem for the spawning salmon.
