Started around 9 am and only passed four people total and that was once I was almost back to the trailhead. Short hike with a consistent climb with great scenery- the roaring river most of the way and Rainier at times. Considering the rains we've had, the trail is in amazing shape. Very minimal mud, a fair amount of wet leaves. A mild day but got chilly while photographing both Comet and Bloucher Falls.
