Central Cascades > Leavenworth Area

Lucky enough to be provided with a permit in the Snow Lakes zone of the Enchantments. Expected some colder weather at this time of the year but figured the trade off would be some colorful larches. Trails were in fantastic condition the whole way. Ended up being much colder than expected but the views are second to none. Campsites are in great condition and really nothing to complain about. Anyone who has the chance to do this trip should take advantage. Ran into a couple pack of mountain goats. One of the groups had two smaller ones. None of them were aggressive but they definitely were not afraid to stand their ground and slowly walk us out of their area.
