South Cascades > Dark Divide
Juniper Ridge by Todd & Cherryl
What a gorgeous day! The hike started out steep and stayed steep. After hiking through the trees, we came to a clearing and were able to see Mt. Adams up close and personal. After a few pics, we kept going and made it to the ridge. What a fabulous view! Mt. Rainier, the Goat Rocks, Mt. Adams, and Mount St. Helens can be seen in a 360' turn. One of the best! We hiked another mile or so along the ridge, which is pretty level. The sun was out, high 60s. It was prefect. I recommend it for anyone who wants some exercise and amazing views and pretty wild flowers.
