All in all the loop we took covered 7.1 miles. A but longer than the 6 I was expecting, but well worth it. We didn't want to lose any trail, so rather than parking in the falls parking area, we parked in campsite loop A. The trail toward The falls was well signed at the back of the loop. Everything on the hike was well signed. Trails were almost completely dry. There was several (ok, a lot) of downed trees/brush but all of it was easy to get around, or to see how others had gotten around. Flowers were blooming. it was a gorgeous day with Sun, and you could actually see the pollen floating in the air. (When we got back to our car several hours later, it was covered). There were lots of bugs and moths about, but no biting bugs. The falls were spectacular and had a close up view and a nice bench which made for a good lunch spot to watch the falls at. We headed back by way of lovers lane. I had anticipated the trail to cross the river before the resort, however I was wrong. It goes down at the far end of the resort, the you have to use the bridge into the resort to cross. But that is the only distance you have to walk on the road. Definitely a hike we are doing again!
