Suntop trail was going to be the first part of my Saturday’s mountain bike course. I’ve never ridden this trail before and I was hoping that it would be snow free. So I parked at Buck Creek Campground and started to climb NF-7160 road. In a 20 minutes I had to start jumping over the fallen trees and I was finally stopped by the snow on 3600 feets (highest point of my course should be at 4300 feet). I decided to turn back and try to make a “Ranger Creek to Palisades” loop but it is the completely another story.
