This is another hidden gem of a hike! I can't figure out why there are only a few recent trip reports. The trail starts on a loop paved road like wta reflects (behind the bathroom). I walked along the road and was a bit confused, because I couldn't find any trails. You have to walk on the road for a while before you start hitting trails off the road. Be sure to go down the staircase to the beach! I had the beach to myself (on a weekend!) and there are some rocks you can walk out on for great views. After I got back on the road, there was a trail on the left that I took that eventually brought me back to the road. I then walked back on the road (going back where I came from) and found a trail on the cliff side. This trail became a skinny little trail with more amazing views! After that, I continued back the other way on the road. When the road curves to the left (the other part of the loop), the best trail is right there in front of you. There's a sign there. Take it! I had it to myself, and it goes along more cliffs and around the point. There's also a spot with a bench-the views just kept getting better! I watched a bald eagle fly right over my head and land in a tree nearby. Great photo ops! There were wildflowers blooming on the trail too! I continued on the trail along the cliff, back into the woods and finally out on the road again. After that point there's a spot where cars park for a view. I didn't even bother to spend more than a minute there-the other spots with the cliff trails were much better! This is a very cool hike! If you have small children, you may want to skip some of the little trails along the cliff.
