I took the late afternoon's day hike to Rampart Ridge and Lila Lake, trying to catch the warm light. I started on the trail head at 4:00 pm, and arrived at Rachel Lake about 5:40 pm. The trail condition is pretty good, and not bug at all. I continued turned right hiking up to Rampart Ridge, It's about an hour of muscle burning, the higher the warmer sunlight. I stopped on Rampart Ridge just above Lila lake. The views are really rewarding withe 2.5 hours hiking. I then found a side trail, and just headed down the hill to Lila Lake. The sunset there is very beautiful. I really like the light in the last few moment with warm, gorgeous color.
