We went on a hot, sunny day. Only met two others on the long, dusty trail. Sadly, since summer came so early this year we missed out on pretty much all the flowers. But there was plenty of mule dung to enjoy!
Didn't actually run into any mules, but supposedly they're there and supposedly they can attack dogs, so I would leave them at home or in the motel.
Like I said before, the trail was very dusty... had to wash our shoes afterwards.
Loved the fact that this trail is a loop! I don't always like going down the same way I went up.
The top is amazing. Pretty much 360 degree views of Methow Valley and the North Cascades. I definitely want to come back next year, just earlier in the season because the flowers are supposed to be amazing.
