This is a great hike for kids unless you are traveling to North Lake which we did not do today. The road was clear to the trail head and in pretty good condition so far. Some patches of snow but none on the trail. We went as far as the ridge. Lots of flowers out today! A couple of blowdowns that were easy to navigate.
