Willaby Creek Trail in sunshine. By Barbara
The Willaby Creek Trail is hike-able for the first time in a while! Go out and enjoy it! A lovely day hike near the Lake Quinault Lodge. Our WTA crew spent a week working on the Willaby Creek Trail. We removed all logs across the trail except one 60" log, which the USFS was preparing to remove when we left. Even if they haven't removed it, there is a way to get around it. The trail has been brushed for almost one mile. There's still heavy brush beyond the one-mile point. And while we worked hard on getting water off the trail, there are still a few muddy spots.
