Millersylvania State Park — Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014

Olympic Peninsula > Olympia
Birds Nest Fungus
We hiked the trails in the park for a total of about 5 miles. The trails were in excellent condition with a few muddy areas expected for this time of year. There are many old-growth cedar and fir trees along the trail. The maples with their ferns add to the beauty of the area. The trail system is easy with very little elevation gain and there are maps at the trail junctions to keep you on the right path!

That shrew is incredible!

I can't believe you spotted her. Thanks for the awesome fungus photos, too.
