My daughter was in town and wanted to go on a hike, so we found this little gem. The trails were pretty easy, old logging roads, with only a few rocky areas. We we met equestrians who were lost, as well as a couple of families on the way to the falls.
When we got to the falls, we discovered that the equestrians were there for a photo shoot. People riding their horses into the swimming hole and taking pictures. We stayed on our perch eating our lunch until they cleared out. Then we went down and enjoyed the families "swimming" in the cold water.
We took the less traveled path on the way back and happened upon ripening thimbleberries. We filled our lunch container with these ripe, sweet berries. Picked up a few geocaches along the way as well.
