Middle Point Ridge — Friday, May. 31, 2013

Eastern Washington > Palouse and Blue Mountains

6 hikers from the Tri-Cities did this hike on a Friday. It had been pouring rain in the Blues on Wed which left the trail in great condition. In areas where it is dry, it can be quite slippery going down. The trail was in better condition than was anticipated after reading an earlier trip report. Although it is overgrown in parts and there were a few blowdowns, we had no problem following the trail. Lots of wildflowers out. Heard lots of birds and saw some elk. It is tick season. Saw no other hikers.
